Sadness

sunset, towards the dark night

Just a little bit sadness, sorrow and grief words with pieces of wonderful instrumental music..
Enjoy the melody and try to feel every word and every note deep inside your mind..

“Heaven knows we need never be ashamed of our tears, for they are rain upon the blinding dust of earth, overlying our hard hearts. I was better after I had cried, than before--more sorry, more aware of my own ingratitude, more gentle.”
 Charles DickensGreat Expectations

“joy and sorrow are inseparable. . . together they come and when one sits alone with you . . remember that the other is asleep upon your bed.”                                                                                                                                  Kahlil Gibran

“No truth can cure the sadness we feel from losing a loved one. No truth, no sincerity, no strength, no kindness, can cure that sorrow. All we can do is see that sadness through to the end and learn something from it, but what we learn will be no help in facing the next sadness that comes to us without warning.”
Haruki MurakamiNorwegian Wood

"There is a sacredness in tears. They are not the mark of weakness, but of power. They speak more eloquently than ten thousand tongues. They are the messengers of overwhelming grief, of deep contrition, and of unspeakable love. "

Around the River Thames

I took these photos on different days, from different angles. I really enjoyed walking around the River Thames and taking a bus tour around the city as there were many beautiful places to see and so I had a great deal of opportunities to take photos. Well, I'm quite an amateur at photography and I took photos by mobile phone, for now, but I take great pleasure by taking photos and manupulating them to achieve a little bit more attraction on them. :)

Well, enjoy the photos,of course, as you're listening to a good piece of music.

Angels by Robbie Williams!

London Eye, which I took a tour on, is one of my favourite attractions of London

This photo was taken during a bus tour

My Trip to LONDON

My very first visit to London have made a great impression on me. It was quite hard to believe where I was standing for the first couple of hours. For also it was my unique dream to be in London, I was deeply amazed at the sights of the city. By every corner I stepped, I filled with excitement and pleasure.
I was on the seventh heaven all through my journey.

I'm so glad to meet you, London!! and Looking forward to visiting again!!

I'd like to share some of my shots from London streets where you can see a mixture of historical and modern buildings. It's a city that both protects its historical values, traditions and customs and also has developed into the modern world.

I've fallen in love with the architecture and the transportation. The nostalgic cabs, which are mostly black, and doubledeck red buses create a lively and different atmosphere in the city.

Want to know why the traffic keeps left? Here is the answer;

The British custom of keeping to the left had developed from jousting when competitors needed to keep their javelin or sword hand  free to meet the oncoming horseman. As most people were right-handed this meant passing each other on the left. The Continental custom of driving on the right was introduced by the Emperor Napoleon, who was left-handed. Since it was he who established the first road system across most of Europe, right-hand drive was adopted on the Continent.
Christopher Winn, I Never Knew About LONDON

Here are two songs: the first one is a song by Petula Clark, who is an English singer, actress and composer. The other one is the most famous London song of all, Waterloo Sunsent by The Kinks. While listening to these songs, you may have a look at the photos of London taken by my camera.

"The lights are much brighter there
you can forget all your troubles, forget all your cares.."

My favourite, black cabs
The one with the classical color yellow cab

The original doubledeck bus

Normally there are new buses in the traffic but fortunately I found this one parked on a quiet street.

Trafalgar Square and National Museum in the background
